The effect is simple, the star icon in the application will follow your mouse position. While star icon is moving, the residue image will fade out steadily. Traditionally, this kind of effect is done by creating a lot of instances with different opacity. The consequence of this method is that it will consume you a lot of computer resources and hence limiting the level of effect.

However, in order to attach more visitors from the search engine, there is a need for my new Silverlight site to be SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly. Amazingly, my site is able to be listed in Google within 48 hours. Besides that, the content inside the Silverlight and some of the inner pages are also indexed by Google.

I have uploaded 40 of my Shine Draw samples into the Silverlight Resources Directory. There are many new features, go and check it out now! You may also upload you own resources. Later on, I will write an article on teaching users how to use it.

The alpha release is alive!!! I have created a new sub domain (http://silverlight.shinedraw.com) and this application will reside on this domain at the beginning.

After working for a couple of hours, I have came up will the application prototype. Click on the image below to open the application.
